Dan, I love how you keep introducing the idea of Strome playing on the top line like it's the first time you suggested Strome on playing with JT & KO. It's nice to see that sort of repeated enthusiasm. Like Andy Dusfrene mailing 2 letters a week asking the state for money to build a library.

Would also love to see Strome on the first line.....the kid is going to be very special. Hopefully JT has a break out game 2 goals 2 assists or a trick!

Yes. Chad Johnson has been terrible. Gives up juicy rebounds and the entire top half of the net. I hope they are investigating alternatives and not waiting until Halak is sidelined for any length of time.

Strait needs to be in Bport.
Donovan deserves to play. After sitting for 20 games, he has been passable.

Somehow the Isles keep managing to defer having to make any decisions regarding who of their 13 best forwards sits. Interesting.

To that point, it would also make the line of Frans, Grabo & Kuli a possibility. $9.2 Mil locked up on Mick & Nick and they're not exactly lighting it up. Kuli has 2 shorties but both have little consistency. Not horrible, all things considered but mediocre most times.

I saw Chad in pre season game and his first 3 starts he won and looked pretty good in doing so. Not so much since but I would expect he doesn't bomb on his next chance to start, with a healthy defense in front of him. Schedule has no back to backs for a while after this coming weekend with Detroit & Tampa. I would expect Halak to start both having the next 3 full days off. Probably wont see Chad till next year, Ek willing.

Both have great possession numbers. They keep the puck on our sticks when they are on the ice.

Grabovski also leads the team in Penalties-Drawn/60 and has taken one penalty himself, all season.

There are so many things they do that don't show up on the game-kept stat sheets.
